Overview of Our Professional Staff and Training
Care Partners: they provide the day-to-day care needs outlined by the personal care program. They receive one-on-one training with our seasoned care partners.
Medication Technicians or Care Partner 3’s: They are floor supervisors and administer medications to our residents. They are CNA certified and received Training and Oversight from our community Nurses.
We have two community nurses who oversee the assisted living and memory support communities. They coordinate care for all residents with family, doctors, and other service providers.
All staff members have 18 hours of onboarding training about safety, security, first aid, and dementia training.
All Team members are CPR certified and have their food handlers permit.
All team members go through our 8-hour community culture training.
Safety and Well-being of Residents
All residents need to have doctor orders stating that they are appropriate for senior living. We conduct a clinical assessment before a resident moves in to find out what each resident's care needs are and to determine if we can support care needs so residents get the support they need so we can maintain their well-being for as long as possible.
Resources and Support Services for New Residents
All new residents will receive extra support for the first 30 days to ensure they settle into the community. This is done by the whole team and our resident ambassadors who help by inviting them to activities and to join them for meals and introducing them to the other residents.
We also try and get residents on therapy services to help them with acclimating to the community and help with increased activity that comes along with moving to a community like ours.
Transportation Services
We do offer personal transportation services on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Dining Experience
We offer restaurant-style dining service. With weekly lunch and dinner specials, a weekly fish option, and a full menu of alternative options for residents to choose from. We do a dessert bar every Friday night and we will be offering Sunday brunch starting in December.
Addressing Resident Complaints and Issues
All residents are encouraged to bring up any concerns to the department head of the areas they are having issues with or with our executive director.
Cost of Living in Our Community
I attached the pricing sheet to my first email. Depending on the apartment and care needs will greatly affect cost. It could be as low as 4600 for a studio apartment with our lowest level of care up to 12000 for memory support with total care assistance. I can better answer your question once I have more specifics of the required needs.
Communication with Resident's Families
We use Life Loop to keep families up-to-date with things happening in the community. Families can let us know what their expectations for communication are, and we will plan it to happen as little or as much as they like. We do ask that families choose a point person to communicate with for larger families that want multiple daily updates.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We do offer respite stays for 14 days and that is at a cost of $300 per day. We must complete the full move-in process before respite stays can happen.
Pet-Friendly Community
Yes, we allow cats, birds, and small dogs. Residents are responsible for the care of their pets. There is just a one-time pet fee of $500.
Availability
Currently, we have a waitlist for 2-bedrooms. We have studios and a couple of 1 bedrooms available.
