Respite Stays at The Plaza
The Plaza's respite program provides the same quality care and access to services as permanent residents, to those seeking short term living situations:
- 14 day minimum stay
- Respite fee added to pro-rated daily rate
- Reservations based on availability
Transition and Orientation for New Residents
We have resources in place to help transition and aid new residents. They go through orientation and we have a Resident Ambassador that assists them.
Transportation Services
We have a Shuttle that will take the residents to Doctors Appointments on certain days of the week as long as it is within a 10 mile radius. We also provide shopping days and excursions.
The Dining Experience
We offer three meals a day. The meals are served restaurant style. A server will take the residents' orders on an iPad and serve them.
Health and Safety
Regarding Covid and Flu vaccinations, we have a clinic that comes into our Community that will administer vaccinations to our residents if scheduled.
Availability and Wait List
No, we do not have a wait list at this time.
Pet Policy
Yes, we are pet friendly. The animal must not be more than 30 pounds. A deposit is required.
Cost of Respite Stays
Yes, we offer Respite Stays. It is a minimum stay of 14 days. The cost will depend on the care they need.
Communication with Loved Ones
The communication policy with loved ones is by phone or in person.
Addressing Complaints
If the resident has a complaint, they can address it at our monthly resident council meeting or speak to our Administrator.
Levels of Care
We offer three levels of Care: Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. We also offer extended Care. No, we do not have a wait list at this time.
