Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
We do not have a waitlist.
Could you share pricing and any other general information?
Attached is our information.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
We have our Director of Health Services, Ruth who is an Registered Nurse. We have our part-time Registered Nurse, Tracy. As well as our full time LPN, Emily. Our caregivers undergo extensive cares training as well as medication training. They also have to be cleared by our nurse before working with residents.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
We have our Director of Resident and Family Services, Cyndy, available to our residents. She has been with us for 16 years. Cyndy is available to our residents and families if they have any concerns or questions. She also hosts monthly residence council meetings.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
We offer our First Friend Resident Ambassador Program – this program is designed to help transition residents to their new home. If requested, we can set up our new resident with another residents to take them to their first couple of activities and meals. That way they already have friends and know the building.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Yes we do. We have our Thursday bus that runs from 9am -4pm which is available to any residents if they have any appointments. Friday morning is grocery shopping, where the bus takes them to local stores. And Friday Afternoons is a ‘fun’ outing (ex. Casino, Como Zoo, restaurants, Minneapolis Institute of Art, etc…)
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Residents can choose to have meals a la carte style or choose their meal plan. Our dining room is restaurant style dining with an option of a special every day. We also have our always available menu if they would like something different.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
They would go Cyndy typically. From there, Cyndy would follow up with the parties involved and work to get it solved.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
We do not have a certain “policy” for speaking with Residents Families. In their Care Plan, they will have their Emergency Contact, Designated Representative, and POA’s (if applicable).
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We currently do not offer this.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Yes! The Pines invites all furry friends.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Yes. We have COVID vaccine clinics and Flu clinics.
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes. Residents can go from Independent Living to Assisted Living in their apartments. We do not have a waitlist.
