Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
Yes, mostly for 2 bedrooms and one bedroom dens as we currently have one bedroom openings.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
We all have ongoing training for senior living every year that all employees have to test out of.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
We have home health aides around the clock for 24/7 care. There is a Life Enrichment Director and 2 coordinators that help out with daily activities inside and outside of our community.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
We have several resources that we can recommend, and we have inhouse Medicare approved Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Yes, we have our own senior-friendly uber service, no shared ride professional and friendly drivers Monday Through Friday that we can set up for you.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
We offer breakfast made to order, lunch, and dinner. We have a main entree for lunch and dinner and 6 other alternative menu items. There are 3 talented Chefs that bring their own flare to homemade cuisine every day.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
We have a resident advocate that helps you as she has 20 years' experience in the industry.
What is the cost of living in your community?
It all depends on the square footage, it starts out at $2500 on up.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
We have interoffice mailboxes we get information out in a timely fashion or our Executive Director emails information to the contact person.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We do not offer, due to our limited availability and during covid we discontinued.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Yes, we have our Companion Dog, he is a 4-year-old Golden Retriever named Bear and loved by all and residents are allowed to have pets.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
We first offered the first 3 vaccinations of Covid and now only Flu Vaccinations.
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes, you can start out independently and add services for Assisted living and stay in your own apartment. You would only need to move if you needed Memory Care which is housed in a separate area on the first floor in a secured area.
