Do you guys currently have a waitlist?

We do not currently have a waitlist for our single private rooms.

Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?

Our whole team undergoes many dementia trainings, safety trainings, medical technician training. Then each department has specific training that they must undergo for their department.
Our management team consists of an Executive Director, Business Office Manager, Wellness Director, Food and Beverage Director, Activities Director, and Maintenance Director.
Our care team consists of personal care assistants and medical technicians.

Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?

We are an all-memory care community and see residents with all types of Dementia, so therefore, we are a completely secure community. We allow families and staff to have a key card that allows them to enter and exit the community. Caregivers do their rounds throughout each day and night to take care of the residents and keep them safe. All other staff are also around throughout each day to assist.

Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?

It is a team effort, but I am the key person that helps with the transition to the community as well as the Nurse. We are here to help make it as easy as possible.

Do you offer transportation services for residents?

We do offer transportation to doctor’s appointments.

Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?

We like for all of our residents to eat in our dining room so that we can monitor their food intake and be there to help assist them if they need it. Our menu is approved by a registered dietician. We have chefs that prepare all our food. We also follow special diets that anyone may have.

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?

We have an open-door policy when it comes to any complaints. Please do not hesitate to come by one of our offices to bring something to our attention. Our whole management team also gives out their cell numbers as well and can be reached.

What is the cost of living in your community?

Our private room pricing starts at $5,600 and is all-inclusive.

What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?

Our nurse and her assistant are wonderful about keeping families informed on their loved ones and how they are doing throughout the day/ week. Med techs may also inform you of how their days are going. Our Activity Director will send pictures as well as post them on Facebook so you can see all the fun things they are doing. Every Friday, our Executive Director will send out an email to all the families and update them with any events that are coming up etc.

Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?

We do offer respite stays at $255 a day and it is a two-week minimum stay.

Are you all a pet-friendly community?

Since we are memory care, we cannot allow our residents to have pets, but we allow family members to bring their own to visit. We also have pet therapy.

Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?

We do offer flu and covid vaccines every year.

Are residents able to age in place?

We are an all-memory care community and fall under assisted living guidelines. We will allow a resident to stay in our community as long as they meet the DHEC guidelines. We will do everything we can to keep them with us as long as we are able to provide them with the necessary care that they need. We also allow hospice to come into our building as well as home health. We do not currently have a waitlist for our single private rooms.
