Our Human Resources

Our HR does a great job at vetting and hiring. All staff go through a background check. We hire Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Registered Nurses for our Health Center. We are all focused on hospitality and extraordinary impressions. We ensure to check current licensing prior to hiring, and each of these areas must have monthly in-services/training and so many hours a year.

Safety and Assessment

Safety is our number one priority. All potential residents are assessed by our Clinical team to ensure they are placed in the safest setting. Our Memory Care, the Windsor House, is for those residents with Dementia that may be at risk of eloping. Our staff at the Windsor House are provided extra training on Dementia and meeting the residents where they are.

The Brandon Wilde Experience

We highly recommend coming in for a Brandon Wilde Experience so we can get to know each other and their preferences well. There are many residents who reside here that do use other sitter services (must be approved by HR) to provide extra support through the transition. It will take a good 30 days for most to transition.

Transportation Services

BW offers transportation for free on Tuesday and Thursday to local appointments/shopping, etc. Our staff does not go with them. Generally, a family member or sitter will go with them to appointments.

Culinary Services

The culinary team at BW offers healthy, unforgettable dining options, including dinner, receptions, teas, social hour, and more. We would love for you to come in and dine with us!

Handling Complaints

All complaints are directed to the Director of Assisted Living and Director of Nurses, as well as the Administrator.

Costs and Insurance

Cost depends on what area you are looking for. I would like to know exactly what you are looking for to further discuss. Do you have a long-term insurance policy?

Communication

BW has outstanding communication. We also have a system for residents and families to use to stay in the know, called Care Merge. In the Skilled Area, we have care plan meetings frequently with the clinical team.

Short-Term Rehab and Respite

We offer short-term rehab and respite when we have availability in our Skilled Nursing, the Pavilion. Usually, Medicare Part A will pay for a short-term rehab stay.

Assisted Living and Pets

In Assisted Living, residents may have pets if they are able to care for them. We have pet therapy frequently as well.

Waiting List

Yes, we do have a waiting list in all areas of the Health Center.

Vaccine Clinics

Yes, we offer vaccine clinics. We have one coming up in the next month or so.

Aging in Place

Aging in place is the goal, as long as they are safe in place.
