Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
If you want a 1 bedroom, some of our floorplans are limited.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
We have both independent and Assisted Living. In our Assisted Living, we have a Director of Resident Care, Med Techβs and Care Staff. In our Maintenance department, we have a department head and techs. Our Director is HVAC Certified. In Our Activities Department, we have a director and assistants. Food and Beverage we have a director and his staff. Agelities is our In-house Physical, Occupational, and Speech Department. All our Staff completes training monthly, both in general areas (fire safety, etc.) and in their departments.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
Our Lifestyle 360 Director will help our Independent Living Residents become familiar with their new home. When moving in I provide a welcome folder, which has maps, staff directories, as well as other useful information. We have a Welcome committee, from our other residents. Once you permit us to share their names, they are informed that you are moving in, and they make plans to welcome you as well.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
In our activities department staff, we have a driver. Monday- Wednesday we transport to Medical Appointments within a 10 mile radius (we can go further than 10 miles, there are additional charges) Thursday morning is our trip to local grocery stores, Thursday we have lunch trips planned and on Thursday afternoon we take a trip to Walmart. Sundays we travel to local churches, and on Sunday afternoon there is another Walmart trip.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Our Independent residents are provided Breakfast and Lunch. Our Assisted Living residents are provided Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Breakfast is from 7:30 β 9:30, it is open seating. There is always a featured item, for example, Pancakes, but eggs cooked to order are always available. A choice of meat (alternates between Bacon and Sausage) fruit, cereal, juice, etc. Lunch starts around 11;30-11;45. Choices are: a soup, a salad, a choice of two entrees, sides, and a dessert. Dinner: for Independent we have two dinner times, 4;30 and 6;00 pm. For Assisted living its 4;45 ish. Dinner is also: Choices are: a soup, a salad, a choice of two entrees, sides, and a dessert.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
With our Assisted Living, if it is a medical concern, our Director of Resident care is the Staff member who can help. Independent Living, they would go to the concierge staff who can take their concern and direct it to the appropriate department.
What is the cost of living in your community?
Independent Living, the cost of the apartment. Assisted Living, the cost of the apartment, and if there is any additional fees, such as Medication Mgt. and additional Level of Care. These are determined with paperwork from the doctor and an assessment from the Director of Resident Care. We have a one-time community fee of $1500.00
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
With our Assisted Living, our Care staff team keeps the responsible party (which has been designated by the Face sheet at time of move in) with all medical issues and concerns. With our Independent Living,
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We have respite care for our Assisted Living, the cost is per day, (if medication mgt. and/or additional Level of Care is needed,) We have a guest Suite for our Independent Living. We have a minimum for Assisted Living Respite Stays
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
We are extremely Pet Friendly, we have a 25 # weight limit for dogs, All pet owners must provide records from the veterinarian, as well as complete necessary paperwork. We have a one-time only pet fee of $500
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
We have Covid shot clinics as needed in our community.
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes, the ability to start in Independent Living and then transition into Assisted Living if needed is something we are extremely proud of. We unfortunately do not offer Memory Care at our community. If you want a 1 bedroom, we have some of our floorplans are limited.
