About Our Staff

The Meadows has over two hundred full time employees for our independent living, assisted living, memory support and skilled nursing and rehabilitation areas. This includes two licensed nursing home administrators, registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, certified nursing assistants, caregivers, chef de cuisine, sous chefs, Class B drivers, servers, housekeeping, maintenance and laundry staff. All meet requirements for the position they hold. Ongoing training is provided through in-services.

Safety and Well-being Measures

For Independent living, a daily check in system for independent living is in place plus wearing a personal pendant provide by the Meadows is advised. A disaster drill is conducted annually.

Transition Support Services

We work closely with future residents throughout the application and move in process to answer questions and help them get acquainted with The Meadows.

Dining Experience

Three on site restaurants in the independent living building offer a casual bistro menu, a buffet and a fine dining option. Assisted living, memory support nursing have dining rooms in their buildings. Our chef provide the same menu options in all levels of care.

Resident Complaints and Issues

Our executive director and all leadership the leadership team have an open door policy to discusses and resolve issues. Alternatively a resident may bring issues up through committees (i.e. dining committee, building and grounds committee) or through the resident association.

Cost of Living

This varies depending on the size of accommodation, the number of people, and the type of service and care needed i.e. independent living, assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing. Independent living is from $3944 monthly for a one bedroom for one person.

Communication with Residents' Families

The Meadows will communicate with family members according to the permissions that the Resident has given, and will follow HIPPA protocol.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Yes, in assisted living or skilled nursing. Assisted living begins at $8426 / month and skilled nursing begins at $512 / day in our 5-Star Medicare rated nursing center. (Note: Physicians order required for admission)

Yes, and we have an on campus fenced off leash dog park.

Yes, we regularly host vaccination clinics for residents who live at The Meadows.

Aging in Place

Yes, to the extent that our license to operate allows. You asked about a wait list, yes, we do have a wait list for anything larger than a one bedroom apartment.
