Could you provide an overview on the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
Our staff consist of Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses, Certified Resident Care Assistants, and Resident Care Assistants. They go through yearly trainings and certifications as well as continuing education as needed.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
We follow all state guidelines to ensure our facility is safe for our residents. There are handrails along all hallways, our hallways are clutter-free, grip bars are in all our bathrooms, and our shower benches are secured to the wall. We also hold ourselves to the highest standard of cleanliness in our facilities.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
Transitioning into a new home is difficult; we try to spend as much time as possible with our new residents. We like to introduce them to our staff, dining experiences, and activities and work with them to get to a new routine that will help them thrive.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
We do have transportation services available to our residents.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
We have an amazing kitchen and chef. All meals are prepared from scratch. We have our chef meals of the day but also have a café menu for those who are craving something different. Our drink stations have coffee, sodas, and juices and are openly available to all residents and residents’ families. We serve our residents in the dining room restaurant-style; we wait on each table to give them the best possible dining experience.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
If a resident or family member has a concern, we encourage them to inform us as soon as possible. We are here to exceed your expectations of care. If a concern is brought to the attention of our staff, we have resident concern forms that are filled out and passed to management to ensure a speedy resolution for your loved one.
What is the cost of living in your community?
The cost of living in the Assisted Living prices vary from $4519-$5259 per month for room and board plus a level of care charge that can vary from $0-$1120 a month and our Health Center prices vary from $269-$339 per day plus a level of care charge that can vary from $0-$85 per day.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
Families are notified of all new orders and of any occurrence pertaining to their family member. Family is always welcome to call and ask for updates about their resident from the nursing staff and/or therapy staff.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We do have respite stays available for both the Assisted Living and Health Center when we have the availability. Health Center prices vary from $309-$389 per day depending on the accommodation, and Assisted Living varies from $169-$199 per day depending on accommodation. Accommodation prices are based on proximity to nursing stations as well as the size of the room.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
We are a pet-friendly facility; pets are welcome to visit if they are vaccinated. If an Assisted Living Resident wants to bring a pet to live with them at the facility there is an extra monthly charge.
Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
We do currently have a waitlist for our Health Center Long Term Care.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
We offer three vaccinations in our facility: Covid vaccination, flu vaccination, and pneumonia vaccinations.
Are residents able to age in place?
We offer our residents a continuum of care, so if they admit to our Assisted Living neighborhood and their level of care changes, we will transfer them to our Health Center to continue to give the best care we can provide.
At The Meadows of Delphos
We know that age is not the only thing that defines us. It’s our unique taste, our interests, our personality, and our outlook on life that makes us unique. At our campus, we not only respect these individual qualities, we celebrate them. We firmly believe that just because someone may need a little extra help, that doesn’t mean they have lost their trademark spark that makes them special. That’s why we offer a lifestyle our residents can make their own, and care that is based on their unique needs. Whether it is for Long Term Care, Rehab, Assisted Living, or a respite stay our residents become family.
