Overview of Our Professional Staff and Training

We have a dedicated team led by an RN Wellness Director and supported by two LPNs as assistant nurses. Our facility is staffed 24/7 with caregivers and med techs. While we prioritize hiring licensed care staff, we also offer an in-house credentials program for those new to the healthcare industry, ensuring all staff remain up-to-date with their continuing education credits annually.

Safety and Well-being Measures

Our facility is staffed around the clock, with main doors locking from the outside after hours to ensure resident safety. We offer a robust activity program to keep residents engaged and assist in forming new friendships.

Transition Support Services

We partner with Senior Connections for on-site counseling services, aiding residents in their transition into our community, complemented by our staff support.

Transportation Services

Our transportation services cover Port Orchard to Tacoma at no cost. For further distances, we assist in arranging third-party transportation, with costs varying.

Dining Experience

Our dining room operates from 7am to 6:30pm daily, without set times or assigned seating. Our Chef presents a new special for each meal alongside a comprehensive always-available menu, aiming to excel in meal satisfaction.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

All managers, including the executive director, maintain an open-door policy for addressing concerns, supplemented by a complaint box at the front desk for written submissions.

Communication with Residents' Families

We utilize an app for easy communication between staff, residents, and their families, providing updates on activities and care plan changes, with options for more frequent check-ins.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Subject to availability, we offer respite stays with daily rates varying between $200 - $400, based on care needs.

Pet-Friendly Community

We welcome well-behaved pets with a one-time $500 fee and up-to-date immunization records.

Waitlist Information

We currently have a waitlist, with a one-bedroom cottage soon available and a relatively short wait for studio or one-bedroom apartments. Two-bedroom units have a longer wait time.

Vaccination Services

We partner with Costless Senior Services for on-site Covid and flu vaccination clinics, billed through insurance.

Aging in Place

Our apartments are licensed for both Independent and Assisted Living, allowing residents to age in place, including hospice care and access to an attached memory care unit if needed.
