Overview on the Types of Professionals on Our Staff and Their Training

Also, many support staff members like Life Enrichment and Nutrition hold their own trainings with Era Living and mentorships.Measures to Ensure the Safety and Well-Being of Residents
From our Resident published handbook: Security – This is a closed campus, including the front gates. If you have a parking spot, you can use your key fob to open the gates, or just press the button on the speaker and tell the front desk your apartment number. Personal Emergency Pendants – Personal pendants are available for a very small fee from the Wellness Department that will also summon assistance. Many residents find them to be a great contribution to an individual sense of security and independence.Resources or Support Services to Aid Residents' Transition
Yes, we have a Resident Ambassador program that provides resident based support and a Social Worker/Counselor on staff to support. We also have many daily activities to help integrate residents.Transportation Services for Residents
From our Resident published handbook: Transportation and Shopping – The Lakeshore bus goes to Safeway and Fred Meyer every Friday morning, and complimentary personal transportation for individual trips and medical appointments can be made through Life Enrichment.Dining Experience
From our Resident published handbook: Dining Room – and isn’t the view superb? You’ll want to be sure to check for the eagles. Ask someone to show you the ‘eagle tree’. The menu isn’t set in stone; your server is always ready to tell you about options. If you have special dietary needs, the kitchen is able to assist. You can always fill out a ‘to go’ slip, located to the left of the dining room doors, and pick up your meal if you do not wish to eat in the dining room. And for a small fee, you can have your food delivered. By the way, seating is not assigned. And if you’re having guests, we recommend calling for a reservation, especially if you want a window table. Menus are distributed to all residents weekly. Breakfast – 7:30 am to 9:00 am Lunch – 11:30 am to 1:00pm Dinner – 4:30 pm to 6:30 pmProcess for Addressing Resident Complaints or Issues
We have a Resident Council they can address issue to or our Executive Director. From our Resident published handbook: Resident Council – We’re a pretty democratic (small ‘d’) group with the Council elected by residents and meeting monthly. The first part of every meeting is set aside for any resident to bring up a question or concern. Those can also be directed to any council member anytime and they will bring it forward at the next meeting. Council members are identified on their name badges. Minutes are available at Reception. Town Hall/Culinary and Dining Meetings – These meetings are held once a month. At Town Hall, all the Directors attend and answer questions and update residents. At the Culinary/Dining Meeting, the Head Chef and Director of Dining meet with residents, again to answer questions and to provide updates. Here is your chance to make special requests, or you can always speak to or leave a note for either of them.Cost of Living in the Community
