Overview of Staff and Training
Our facility employs a variety of professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our residents. We have an RN who works from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Additionally, during the day and evening shifts, we have two med techs and three CNAs. For the night shift, there is one med tech and two CNAs. Our CNAs perform safety checks 24 hours a day to ensure the well-being of our residents. Training is a continuous process here; for example, our team recently completed a CPR training session last week.Safety Measures
To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we conduct regular safety checks. One of the key measures is the use of Next Gen wearables, which residents wear around their wrists. These devices have a red button that residents can press when they need assistance.Resources and Support Services
Truthfully, our residents are very welcoming and embrace new members with open arms. If a resident appears to need professional assistance, with the family's permission, "Lifesource" can visit that resident. The frequency of these visits is likely determined by an initial assessment.Transportation Services
We offer transportation to physician appointments within a ten-mile radius of our building.Dining Experience
Residents receive a menu the day before and make their choices for the following day. Meals are then served at their tables.Complaint Resolution Process
If a resident has a complaint or an issue, they talk to our administrator to come up with a solution. We also have a "Resident Council" meeting monthly where various subjects are discussed and resolved.Communication with Families
Every quarter, our residents undergo an assessment. Following this, our administrator or nurse calls the families to discuss how the resident is doing. Families are always welcome to call if they have questions or concerns.Short-term or Respite Stays
Sadly, we do not offer short-term or respite care.Pet Policy
Dogs are allowed to visit with current vaccination forms but unfortunately cannot live here.Availability
Currently, we have two Studio units and two One Bedroom Units available.Vaccinations
The Kempton has had Covid Vaccination clinics in the past, and we anticipate having more if new vaccines become available. Our residents typically get their flu shots at their physician appointments.Aging in Place
