Overview of Our Professional Staff and Training
Our team comprises caregivers, med techs, and nurses, all trained specifically in dementia care, including managing behaviors associated with the condition. Additionally, our kitchen staff are all Serve-Safe certified, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Safety and Well-being Measures
To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we conduct checks every 2 hours in line with state guidelines. Our facility is secured with keycode entry on all exit doors to maintain a safe environment.
Resources and Support Services
We offer a monthly caregiver support group for families and collaborate with the local ALZ Association chapter to provide resources that assist families in transitioning their loved ones into a memory care community.
Transportation Services
Our facility includes a bus service for transporting residents to their doctor's appointments, ensuring they receive the necessary medical care without inconvenience.
Dining Experience
Mealtimes are hosted in a dining room setting, enhanced with music, where meals are plated by the care staff and served at the residents' tables. Special diets are accommodated to meet the nutritional needs of each resident.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Families can submit grievances directly to the Executive Director, who is committed to responding within 5 days, ensuring concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
Communication with Residents' Families
We maintain communication with the Power of Attorney for each resident, keeping them informed through care plan meetings. Families can also contact our Resident Care Coordinator for updates on their loved ones' well-being.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer respite stays starting from a minimum of 14 days at a cost of $225 per month, providing temporary relief for caregivers in need of a break.
Pet-Friendly Community
Pets are welcome to visit, and we also provide pet therapy, recognizing the positive impact animals can have on our residents' lives.

Currently, we do not have a waitlist, allowing for immediate availability for new residents seeking admission to our community.
Vaccination Clinics
We facilitate flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinics within the community to ensure our residents are protected against these viruses.

Our community supports residents' ability to age in place, providing continuous care as their needs evolve over time.
We are the largest memory care community in the upstate and we are memory care only!
Our residents love having ample amount of space to move about including 3 large outdoor spaces, a barnyard with real chickens, screened in rocking chair porches, a main street with faux stores and a real ice cream shop!
We are also a full service memory care
Meaning that we are capable of handling all behaviors and all forms of dementia. We have our own clinic in house which is ran by Prisma’s Center for Success in Aging and we are able to manage medication in house.
