Pricing for Independent Living

The cost for independent living varies based on the type of apartment:

• One-bedroom apartments range from $4,000 to $4,225 per month.
• Two-bedroom apartments start at $6,225 and can go up to $13,000 per month, depending on size and scope.

Respite care and short-term stays are expected to have the same monthly cost as renting an apartment for a year, but this was not confirmed during the conversation.

There is no cost to break a lease, but a two-month notice is required.

Waitlist Information

To answer your question about waitlists, the answer is yes only for certain style floorplans and no for others. We do have current availability; it just depends on the floorplan – please do look at the attached (which has our floorplans + prices listed).

Move-In Assistance

To facilitate a smooth transition into the community, The Gatesworth provides a full-time move-in coordinator. This coordinator assists with the downsizing process, offers floor plan measurements, and helps prospective residents envision their new living space.

Safety and Security

Resident safety is a top priority at The Gatesworth. The community is equipped with cameras, 24-hour security at all entrances, and daily checks to ensure resident activity. The grounds are also monitored with outdoor cameras for additional security.

Transportation Services

The Gatesworth offers both group and individual transportation options. Group transportation is available on a scheduled basis to various locations such as grocery stores and malls. For individual needs, residents can schedule private rides with Gatesworth employee drivers, who provide personalized service in comfortable vehicles.

Dining Experience

The independent living section features three restaurants, offering a continental breakfast and a la carte lunch and dinner options. The culinary team, including a renowned chef and award-winning pastry chef, focuses on fresh, locally sourced ingredients with a menu that changes monthly. Special dietary needs are accommodated, and residents can request off-menu items as well.

Apartment Options

The Gatesworth offers a range of one- and two-bedroom apartments, with the possibility of customization to meet residents' preferences. The community is unique in its local ownership and in-house construction team, which allows for creative modifications to living spaces.

Lease Flexibility and Short-Term Stays

As a rental agreement facility, The Gatesworth does not require a buy-in. Residents can break their lease with a two-month notice without penalty. The community also offers the flexibility for respite care and short-term stays, with costs similar to standard monthly rent.

Resident Concerns and Family Communication

Residents can voice any complaints to staff members, who will escalate the issue to the executive director. While independent living residents typically communicate on their own, the assisted living section may have different protocols for family communication.

Pet-Friendly Environment

Pets are welcome at The Gatesworth. The community features an outdoor area with walking paths for residents to enjoy with their pets. Additionally, dog walking services are available for those who require assistance.
