Community Fee Deposit
There is a one-time community fee deposit of $2,000.00 which helps cover the cost of preparing the suite before move-in and after move-out.

Our rates are all inclusive and include all medical and personal care supplies, 24/7 nurse staffing, and exceptional staffing ratio. Our suites start at $9,500.

Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
Currently we do not have a waiting list.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
We have Our Executive Director Trisha Brown, LNHA & CDP
Our Clinical Director is Bobbi Winkleman, LPN CDP
We have two Clinical Care Coordinators Ebony Peterson, LPN CDP and Yolanda Williams, LPN CDP
Our HR is Simone Sprinkle, CDP
Our Enrichment Coordinator is Amy DiFilippo, CDP plans the weekly activities.
Our Nutritional Coordinator is Kristen Spierings who provides our meals.
Our Environmental Coordinator is Sally Coleman Maintenance, CDP
And Myself the Community Relations Director.
Our staff undergoes CDP training which means they can become Certified Dementia Practitioners. We also have on-going education and best practices that we use for dementia care. We offer Demetia Live for our families and to the community as well.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
We are a secured memory care community; We have a Real time tracking system in place for all our residents to track where there are always. It’s kind of like a fit bit. It also serves as a call light if they need help. We staff at a 1:6 ratio to insure all our residents are being attentive to properly. We can enable custom alerts based on the residents’ habits, symptoms, and behaviors. Our system was built for us, nobody has the same system.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
Our team is well connected in within our community. If there is a specific service, you need I would be happy to connect you with a local company. Also bear in mind, we offer fully furnished suites, so you don’t have to pay a moving company.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
What we have found is that many of our families prefer to use our “in-house” providers—this includes Primary care physician, ophthalmologist, dentist, pharmacy, and audiologist. These in house providers eliminate the need for transportation services. We have also found that leaving our community for offsite appointments increases confusion. Our best practice is to manage residents’ clinical needs in house! If transportation services are needed, we can refer you to local companies.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Our meals are based on a Mediterranean inspired diet, with fresh fruits and vegetables. We focus on offering a variety brain healthy meals and offer homemade muffins, fresh fruit smoothies throughout the day. All meals are served from the household kitchen right in front of the residents to help give it that “at home” feel. Families can eat free anytime at any meal. In addition to the planned meal, we offer an always available menu as well as special diets.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
We have Clinical Coordinators on each neighborhood who can help with any issues and or concerns. We also have a household nurse 24/7 and a Clinical Director. Any one of them can be addressed with any issues or concerns.
What is the cost of living in your community?
There is a onetime community fee deposit $2,000.00 which helps cover the cost of preparing the suite before move-in and after move-out.

What you will also find unique about Ganzhorn is that we are an age-in place model, so as care needs increase the suite rate remains the same. We are able care for those needing 2 person transfers and mechanical lift transfers, which is unique to many assisted livings. We also provide the furniture, Personal care items, medical supplies Incontinence supplies, laundry services, medication management etc..
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
We have care conferences quarterly and as needed. Any significant changes in health would be communicated right away with the 1st emergency contact.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
Yes, we do offer Respite stays the minimum is 7 days at $340 a day.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Yes, we are a pet friendly community, pets cannot live here but they are welcomed visitors! We would need a copy of updated shot records on file before the first visit.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Yes, residents can get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations here at the community.
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes, resident here can age in place here! Currently we do not have a waiting list.
