Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
Yes, our waitlist depends on the type of room you are looking for.
Could you share pricing and any other general information?
I have attached our room rates.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
Our staff includes Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, RN’s, LPN’s, Social Workers, Recreation people, dieticians, building service people, etc. Any staff that may have contact with our Members is fingerprinted and a thorough background check done.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
This is too wide of a question to answer. We have staff checking on each Member on a regular basis. We have call lights available to them wherever they might be in their room. We have mats that can be put on the floor if they are at risk for falling out of bed. We do not restrain Members as per NYS regulations.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
Not sure what you mean here. Our staff will help the Member become acclimated to their surroundings and provide any help they need.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
We do not offer transportation.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Our dining services are done through our kitchen and then delivered to each dining area on trays.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
They can speak with their Social Worker, aide, or nurse manager on their neighborhood.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
We have a patient care conference 2-3 weeks after they arrive with their team to discuss how the Member is doing and what we can do differently. We also have periodic meetings to discuss their care plan. The Social Worker or Nurse Manager will also keep in touch with you, and you can reach out at any time to discuss any issues or concerns.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We do not offer respite care here.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
We welcome the visitation of any pet as long as they have their immunizations up-to-date and are good boys or girls. We have many therapy dogs that visit, and we have fish, birds, and a bunny on-site. Members are currently not allowed to have their own pets.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
We provide Covid and Flu vaccinations on-site.
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes, when a Member transitions from Skilled nursing to Hospice care, we will keep them in the same room and the Hospice aides will come to them.
