Professional Staff and Training

Our director is an LVN, and our med techs have specific training, with some having been part of our team for many years, including one who has been with us for 13 years. Our caregivers are well-trained but are not CNAs. As a type A assisted living facility, we provide a lighter level of care compared to type B facilities.

Safety and Well-being Measures

Each resident is equipped with a pendant that they can press at any time to request assistance. Caregivers perform checks on residents at the beginning and end of each shift, or as outlined in the resident's treatment plan.

Transition Support Services

We have a resident representative who welcomes new residents and is available to answer questions. Additionally, our community is home to many friendly residents who assist newcomers in getting acquainted with the schedule of activities and meals.

Transportation Services

Yes, we offer transportation services for our residents.

Dining Experience

Our chef, who has been with us for 15 years, provides a great variety of food options, including daily and weekly specials, as well as a menu of items available at any time.

Resident Concerns and Complaints

If a resident has a complaint or issue, they can address it to our Assisted Living Director, Connie Smith, LVN.

Cost of Living

The cost varies depending on the apartment chosen. Prices tend to be higher on the first floor due to evacuation requirements. A care and rent rate sheet is available for review.

Family Communication Policy

Connie maintains constant contact with families and is always available to address concerns. Communication with families about their loved ones' well-being is tailored to individual preferences, including email, phone, or text.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We sometimes offer short-term or respite stays if an apartment is available. The cost is typically about $1500 over the normal rent because it includes care and medications. These stays are for 30-90 days and are paid in advance.

Pet-Friendly Community

Yes, we are a pet-friendly community and we do have some availability coming up in Assisted Living.
