Rock Hill Personal Care is a senior living community that offers a nurturing environment for those in need of assisted living services. Our community is designed to provide a continuum of care to ensure a seamless transition for residents as their needs evolve.

Our community features a variety of room options to suit the preferences and requirements of our residents. We maintain a waitlist for external applicants, but we prioritize availability for residents transitioning from independent living within our community. We invite potential residents and their families to tour our facility and view the rooms we have available.

Respite Care

Currently, we do not offer respite care services. However, we are committed to providing updates on availability and options for respite care as they arise.

Pet Policy

While we understand the importance of pets in many people's lives, our personal care facility does not allow pets to ensure the comfort and safety of all our residents.

Moving Assistance

We provide a list of recommended moving companies to assist new residents with their transition into our community. Families are also welcome to assist their loved ones with the move if they prefer to manage the process themselves.

Transportation and Outings

Our community offers transportation services for residents, including a dedicated transport department with drivers who facilitate trips to appointments, shopping excursions, and other destinations. We also organize outings, such as scenic drives to view the fall foliage, enhancing the living experience for our residents.

Dining Experience

Residents at Rock Hill Personal Care enjoy a restaurant-style dining experience with three meals provided daily. Our main dining room, the Fountain View, offers a welcoming atmosphere where residents can order their meals and drinks, served by our attentive dining staff. For a change of scenery, residents can also dine at the Alderford dining room on the main campus, which offers a broader selection of meal options.

Our Staff

Our dedicated staff includes nurse supervisors for each shift, medication technicians, resident aides, shower technicians, and homemakers. We ensure that our residents receive the care and assistance they need, with a focus on safety and well-being.

Medical Care

We have two visiting doctors and a nurse practitioner available to meet the healthcare needs of our residents. While residents are welcome to retain their personal physicians, our on-site medical professionals are here to provide convenient and timely care.

Safety Measures

Each resident is provided with a pendant to call for assistance for any reason, whether it's an emergency or a simple question. For residents who may require additional monitoring, we offer a discreet bracelet system that alerts staff if a resident attempts to leave the facility unaccompanied.

Addressing Complaints

Our director, Pam Keller, is available to address any complaints from residents. We maintain a complaint book to document issues and ensure proper follow-up. Our goal is to resolve concerns promptly and satisfactorily.

Family Communication

We believe in keeping open lines of communication with the families of our residents. Monthly follow-ups and care plan meetings are conducted to keep family members informed and engaged in the care of their loved ones. While we do not use apps or digital platforms for communication, we ensure that all interactions are personal and responsive.
