Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
We have a resident ambassador program where residents who have been in the community for over 2 years are able to meet with our new residents and show them around the community, although our dining room is open seating the resident ambassador will reserve space for our new resident to join them as they are adjusting to the community. Each department manager will meet with our new resident to inform them of our purpose in the community and answer any questions they may have about the department they oversee. At the end of each month we have a private meal for all new residents to join and socializes with each resident ambassador and new resident. At this time each department manager will stop by to reintroduce themselves and see if we can answer any questions or concerns.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Yes, Monday – Friday we have a schedule of transportation to medical appointments, shopping trips, errand days and fun trip outings to lunch or a museum for example.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Our restaurant style dining room is the heart of the community, centrally located in the center of the community. We have wait staff that will greet residents, explain the daily menu options and specials, celebrate holidays and host special festivities and brunches. From 7AM to 7PM you can come in for a bite to eat.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
We have an open door policy for all residents, family members and employees to address concerns or complaints. We also have a comment box where you can bring a concern to us anonymously. We also have a yearly confidential survey for reach employee, resident and resident family member.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families?
We have a system in place that will send out mass communication of text messages, emails or phone calls depending on which method of communication you select. For example we will be having a Brunch on Easter Sunday and want to inform families to RSVP to the event.
How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
When we are talking about an individual resident our staff will call and inform the responsible family member of any concerns or updates of care needs, we will also invite in for a care plan meeting to explain change of condition or improvement.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Yes we are a pet friendly.
Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
We have a variety of apartment sizes and have a small wait list on Studio apartments and a wait list for our memory care community.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
We do host an annual flu vaccine clinic in the community.
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes our goal is to keep residents as independent as possible but to assist them when they are needing additional support. We are known for our assisted living and memory care. We have a variety of apartment sizes and have a small wait list on Studio apartments and a wait list for our memory care community.
