- Do you guys currently have a waitlist? Not today
- Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility? Our Executive Director and Director of Health Services are both licensed LVNs. We have ongoing training for our Care-Givers, Medical Technicians, Wellness Programming aka Activities Team, Housekeepers, Facilities Team, Servers in our Restaurant. The California Department of Social Services has training requirements that we must adhere to.
- Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents? We have pull cords in each area of our residents' apartments, to use in case they need immediate attention. We do recommend, however, that they purchase a pendant to wear around their neck. You press the button to alert a Care-Giver, and they will be right to you. We have bars in the bathrooms, near the toilet and in the shower.
- Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community? We offer a New Resident Orientation once a month. We also have Resident Ambassadors that reach out and welcome you to the Community.
- Do you offer transportation services for residents? Yes, within a 5-mile radius.
- Could you tell me a little about your dining experience? Our restaurant is opened from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM; you can dine when you want to. We chop, grate, and peel, you will get a fresh meal 3 times a day, 7 days a week. Our Executive Chef has several published recipes; she’s cooked for President Obama and Princess Diana.
- What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed? Our Concierge is available 8 AM – 8 PM, 7 Days a week. Bring it to our Concierge’s attention, and they will direct it to the proper Manager. The Manager will follow up with you to seek resolution usually within 48 - 72 hours, depending on the severity.
- What is the cost of living in your community? See attached pricing sheet.
- What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being? We make phone calls and send emails until we reach them.
- Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost? 14 Day Minimum at $250 per day + Care Costs.
- Are you all a pet-friendly community? Yes, as long as the Resident is able to care for it. We allow 1 pet with Shot records. A 1X Pet Fee of $1,000.
- Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community? We have in the past as long as there was resident interest.
- Are residents able to age in place? Yes.
