Overview of Professional Staff and Training

At the Chateau, all staff members are licensed professionals, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, PTs, OTs, and Speech Therapists. We do not employ medical technicians to provide care. Each professional practices within their designated scope, and tasks are deferred to the licensed professional whose expertise aligns with the required care.

Safety and Well-being Measures

To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we adhere strictly to Life Safety and ACHA guidelines for Skilled Nursing Facilities. Our staff only practices within their designated scope to maintain a high standard of care.

Transition Resources and Support Services

Chateau provides a Transition Planner and Social Worker to assist residents with the transition into Skilled Nursing and to address any questions that may arise during this process.

Transportation Services

Chateau assists with scheduling transportation to and from appointments as necessary. Please note that this service incurs an additional cost not covered by the Chateau.

Dining Experience

Residents have the option to dine in their room, a common area, or the community dining room, which operates like a restaurant and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are also other restaurants available on campus.

Handling Complaints and Issues

All concerns or grievances are handled internally with the assistance of the Social Worker at the Chateau.

Cost of Living

For information on Chateau pricing, please refer to the attached CDA packet and contact the Sales department for community-wide questions.

Communication with Residents' Families

Residents have autonomy over their information and decide who we can communicate with and what medical information can be shared. If a resident is incapacitated, information is deferred to the Medical Power of Attorney.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Short-term stays may be covered by Medicare with qualifying factors. For private pay costs, please refer to the attached CDA packet for room and supply costs.

Pet Policy

While residents cannot have their own pets, visitors are welcome to bring pets with proper documentation.

Waitlist Policy

Chateau operates on a first-come, first-serve basis without a waitlist.

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

Both Covid and flu vaccinations are offered based on doctor’s recommendations.

Aging in Place

Residents can age in place as long as the doctor determines that the Chateau can meet all of the resident's clinical needs.
