FAQs

Do you guys currently have a waitlist? No, we do not have a waitlist. However, there is a 2-part assessment & approval process for our community.

Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility? We have Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Certified Medical Technicians (CMT), Registered Nurses (RN), Charge Nurses, Delegating Nurse, as well as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). All trainings are created by our Director of Nursing, which is outside the scope of admissions, so I am not certain of the details of their trainings. I do know that they are based on Assisted Living state regulations and guidelines.

Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents? We offer individualized care plans based on the needs of each resident with their wellbeing at the top of our priority. Our building safety includes keeping our doors locked 24/7 and having a concierge in place to ensure no unauthorized access. We do not allow overnight guests to prevent disorderly conduct or possible elder abuse. Medications are securely stored and blister packed for safety, security, and sanitation. Residents capable of navigating a life alert pendant have one and are taught how to use it. They are also geo-tagged so we know exactly where each resident is when they require assistance.

Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community? We do not offer any support services or resources outside of our Activities team giving an introduction and ensuring to provide our daily activities itinerary, newsletter, and resident council meetings. We encourage residents to engage with their peers for a smoother adjustment.

Do you offer transportation services for residents? Yes, we offer transportation to and from doctors’ appointments within a 25-mile radius for only $10 roundtrip. We have a driver take the resident and wait for them until time to return to the community.

Could you tell me a little about your dining experience? We offer restaurant-style dining in our community. The menu can be pre-selected a week prior, and there is no additional cost as all meals are included. Residents can also eat in their rooms, but we encourage dining together for social engagement.

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed? Residents can request to speak with our Executive Director, Nursing manager, or any member of management they feel comfortable with. They can press 0 on their phones and let the concierge know they would like to request a meeting or call with management.

What is the cost of living in your community? Our base rate for a studio on the 2nd & 3rd floor is $3,990.00, and increases based on the level of care cost. The costs are determined based on the assessment and range from $625-$1,725 being our max rate charged before a nursing home is required.

What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being? Residents' families have the option of signing up for LifeLoop, which provides updates on the activities each resident engages in. For medical updates, those can always be requested by calling and speaking with the Nursing team.

Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost? We do offer respite stays which are for a minimum/maximum of 30-days. The cost will be that of 30-days regardless of the length of stay.

Are you all a pet-friendly community? We are a pet-friendly community as long as the pet is under 30lbs and the resident is able to care for the pet themselves. There is also a one-time pet fee of $350 that is required. All pets must have current vaccinations and provide proof of that prior to being approved.

Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community? Residents have been able to get those shots here, however, it is based on scheduling which is done by the nursing team and beyond the scope of admissions for me to elaborate on the process.

Are residents able to age in place? Yes, residents are able to age in place and we allow for Hospice to come in as well as companion aides can come into the community. A form is required for this and will be provided by the nursing staff.
