Staff and Services

On site, we have Med Techs (24 hrs.), caregivers (24 hrs.), housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, and management staff. Additionally, a nurse oversees our Director of Resident Services through community visits and remote communication.

Safety and Security

All staff undergo continued training and drills for fire, natural disaster, elopement, active shooter, and medical emergencies. Our front doors are locked after hours and can only be opened by staff.

Community Integration

We have an "Ambassador Program," where two of our residents love to assist new residents in adjusting to the community. Our caring staff also build friendships with residents.

Transportation

Yes, we offer transportation for medical appointments.

Dining

We provide restaurant-style dining and an artful dining program and won "Best Meals and Dining" with A Place for Mom for 2023.

Communication and Meetings

All managers have an open-door policy, allowing residents to express concerns freely. Once an issue is noted, the appropriate department manager investigates and addresses it. Residents hold a monthly "Resident Council Meeting," which staff may attend only if invited.

Communication with Families

We use Rent Cafe, Email, Phone, Text, and other programs to communicate with families about care, financials, community events, and general information. For Memory Care residents, communication is with the Power of Attorney or their approved contacts.

Respite Care

Respite care is offered based on availability. We recommend contacting us a week before it is needed. Assisted Living Respite care is $225 per day, with a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of 30 days. Memory Care Respite care is $250 per day, with the same duration requirements.

Pet Policy

We are a pet-friendly community. Pets are welcome provided they don't cause disruptions like noise, odors, or aggression, and as long as the resident manages their clean-up.

Waitlist and Aging In Place

Currently, we only have a waitlist in our memory care. Residents can age in place as long as no nursing skill is needed that a third party can't assist with. Examples of prohibited skilled nursing include feeding tubes and surgical wounds, while we can assist with ostomies, Foley catheters, and oxygen.

Vaccination Clinics

Vaccination clinics are scheduled throughout the year, typically before flu season.

Onsite Rehabilitation and Medical Services

We offer onsite rehab with "Select Rehabilitation," providing PT, OT, and ST services. Our director hosts a complimentary 30-minute exercise class for all residents from Monday to Friday, 10:00 am - 10:30 am. Physicians, including Primary Care, Neurology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, and more, conduct rounds at the community.
