Overview of Professional Staff and Training
Our facility is staffed with Wellness – RN’s, LPN’s, certified home health aides, and licensed med technicians who dispense medication. All staff undergo rigorous training to ensure the highest quality of care.
Safety and Well-being Measures
We have continuous assurance checks by the aide, with frequency depending on the nursing assessment. Residents wear an emergency pendant and have access to pull cords in the bathroom and by the bed. A security guard is present at night, and cameras are installed throughout the facility.
Transition Support Services
Our case manager, who is also a nurse, will assist in transitioning a new resident into the community.
Transportation Services
We offer transportation to medical appointments within 10 miles and weekly shopping trips to locations such as CVS, Stop and Shop, Post Office, and Church.
Dining Experience
Dining is offered in a 3 restaurant-style setting with 2 seatings for each meal at 8-10am, 12pm-2pm, and 5pm-7pm. A Bistro is open 24 hours a day for snacks.
Resident Complaints and Issues
Our Executive Director will personally address any concerns or complaints that a resident may have. Concerns can be voiced to any staff member, who will then take it to the ED.
Cost of Living
Costs vary by style of apartment and level of care. We are happy to discuss more in detail via phone.
Communication with Residents' Families
Diane, our Case Manager, and Dorette, our Wellness Director, are in constant contact with families regarding their loved one’s care. Care plan meetings can be scheduled to discuss any changes or concerns.
Short-term or Respite Stays
Respite stays are a minimum of 30 days and costs vary depending on the level of care; One bedroom furnished - $9500; Studio furnished - $7200. The same requirements as residential stays apply, including a nursing assessment and medical evaluation from the primary care physician.
Pet-Friendly Community
Yes, we are a pet-friendly community. There is a one-time pet fee of $2k.
Waitlist Information
We have started a waitlist for two-bedroom apartments but currently have availability with studios and one-bedroom apartments.
