We are staffed 24/7 with Certified Nurses Aids & Medication Techs responsible for distributing medication to our residents. Additionally, we have a Resident Care Director who is a nurse in the building. She oversees all care aspects of the community. Our staff must be licensed with the state of GA and undergo training upon starting to ensure compliance with state regulations.

Measures to Ensure the Safety and Well-being of Residents

Although we do not have a locked unit like in Memory Care, we conduct frequent safety checks and wellness visits several times per day to ensure all residents are safe and accounted for. Caregivers frequently visit resident rooms to ensure their safety and well-being. All residents have call lights in their rooms and wearable pendants that can be used in case of emergency.

Resources and Support Services for Transition into the Community

We can recommend resources such as movers to assist with transitioning. For Physical Therapy and similar needs, we can facilitate setup through our home health agency, provided we have a doctor's note.

Transportation Services for Residents

Yes, we offer transportation within a 10-mile radius for all medical appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For outings and shopping, services are typically available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Dining Experience

We provide 3 meals per day with two options for Lunch & Dinner. Residents can also choose from an 'always available' menu if the main options are not to their satisfaction.

If there are grievances that need addressing, care-related issues go to the Resident Care Director Candice, while other concerns are directed to the Executive Director to ensure they are satisfactorily resolved.

We typically send out monthly emails with community updates. Immediate medical concerns are addressed by the Resident Care Director and care staff, and families often meet with Candice frequently during the first 30-60 days.

We offer short-term or respite stays at a higher cost than traditional move-ins. We operate month-to-month, requiring only a 30-day notice to vacate.

Pet-friendliness

Yes, we are pet-friendly as long as the resident can care for the pet themselves. There is a $1,000 non-refundable pet deposit required at move-in.
