We are proud to be the only community in New Braunfels and San Marcos with a nurse on every shift. Our Community Clinical Director is an RNB, and we have 14 LVNs on staff, ensuring that a nurse is present 24/7 in our community.

Transition Support Services

We provide an orientation with every Department head and offer a community Directory with most of the information they need to help residents transition smoothly into the community.

Transportation Services

While we do not offer personal transportation, we do take residents to doctor's visits on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as go on planned excursions Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Dining Experience

True restaurant quality service is what we offer. Our daily featured dish for each meal and an "Always available menu" cater to different preferences. Our kitchen and dining room staff are dedicated solely to providing a top-notch dining experience, ensuring that our care staff are focused on their primary responsibilities and not assisting in the kitchen.

Cost of Living

The cost depends on the care neighborhood (AL or MC), care level, and unit type. Pricing for a studio apartment in AL starts at $4,400 and MC starts at $6,400.

Communication with Residents' Families

Communication is customized based on the families' wishes. We use a portal and a system called Life Loop to connect with all families with individualized information, ensuring they are kept updated about their loved ones' well-being according to their preferences.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Because we have been 100% leased for a few months, we do not currently offer respite. If we did, the price would be $250 per day for AL respite and $275 per day for MC respite.

Pet-Friendly Community

Yes, we are a pet-friendly community. MC residents cannot have a pet. AL residents can have pets if they can care for them themselves. We allow cats and dogs under 35 lbs. There is a $500 pet community fee as well as a $20 monthly pet fee for pets residing at The Blake with their owners.

Waitlist Information

We do have a waitlist, but currently, we have a one-bedroom, one-bedroom deluxe in AL, and a Studio and deluxe studio available in MC.
