Our pricing guide is attached as well. You may have seen on our website that we have different care levels. Our costs are more than most communities as we provide a specialized care setting (dedicated memory care) and higher level of care than other communities so our residents can stay with us through end of life and not have to transition to another setting like a nursing home. Our rates are a daily rate based on the daily residency fee (room & board), care level, and medication level. As you can see we have two different medication levels which are ALL done by nurses; the only difference is the number of times per day the resident has scheduled medications (Level 1 is up to 3x/day and Level 2 is 4+/day for scheduled meds as explained on the pricing guide). The range of costs dependent on all factors above would be roughly from $8,750 - $16,000 per month depending on the care level and type of apartment.

The Atrium at Cardinal Drive

Our community, The Atrium at Cardinal Drive, remains after 26+ years the only assisted living community exclusively for individuals with memory loss in Western MA.

Tailored Design for Memory Care

This means that everything we do is designed for our residents (including our programming/activities, care model, medication administration, dining program, etc.). Even the physical layout of the community is specifically designed for residents with memory impairment. We do not have confusing hallways – rather very large open spaces with neighborhood sitting areas – it allows our residents to enjoy a large space safely where our team can have additional oversight than what you would find in other settings.

Safe Outdoor Spaces

Our enclosed outdoor courtyards serve as a great space for our gardening club and a safe and secure environment when our residents want some fresh air!

Cognitive and Physical Care

We meet our residents where they are cognitively and physically. Unlike other communities in the area, we care for our residents through end of life providing a level of personal care assistance including 2-person, hoyer lift, and total care with all activities of daily living.
