Our senior living community operates on a "first come, first serve" basis, ensuring that those who are ready to move in can do so without a significant waitlist. This approach allows for a fluid and dynamic admission process, accommodating the changing needs of potential residents.

We offer respite care services for those in need of a temporary stay. Our community provides a supportive environment for short-term residents to enjoy the same amenities and care as our long-term members.

Pet Policy

Pets are welcome in our community, with a focus on smaller breeds such as Yorkies or Chihuahuas. We require a pet deposit and stipulate that residents must be capable of caring for their pets independently.

Transportation Services

Our community provides transportation for essential outings such as doctor's appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as trips to local stores like Walmart and Dollar Tree on Fridays. We utilize a van for these excursions and aim to keep destinations within the local Metairie area.

Dining Experience

Residents enjoy a diverse menu with daily specials ranging from tacos and red beans and rice to fried chicken and pasta. Breakfast options include grits, sausage, eggs, toast, or biscuits, while dinner is typically a lighter meal like a sandwich. Our kitchen staff, including chefs and servers, ensure a pleasant dining experience for all.

Staff and Care

While we do not have a 24-hour nurse due to the nature of our facility, we do have nursing staff available in the morning and evening to administer medications. Our team includes both Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide care and support to our residents.

Safety and Emergency Preparedness

Our community prioritizes safety through regular fire drills and has an evacuation plan in place for emergencies such as hurricanes, with a sister facility in Baton Rouge serving as a safe haven. We maintain communication with resident families through email and phone as soon as connections are available.

Addressing Concerns and Complaints

Residents can voice their concerns or complaints through a dedicated grievance communication line or by speaking directly with the administrator or on-duty supervisor. We are committed to addressing and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
