Overview of Professional Staff and Training
We have a registered nurse here during normal business hours. During non-business hours our nurse or another designee is on call 24/7. Our care staff are made up of Certified Nursing Assistants or Personal Care Assistants, who have undergone an 80-hour training through our community. All Medication Technicians have successfully gone though a state certification program.
Safety and Well-being Measures
All assisted living residents wear a pendant that they can use to call for assistance. Rounds are completed on all residents at least every 2 hours.
Transition Support Services
Members of the management team spend time with each new resident so that they can get to know us. Our activity director discusses each new resident’s interests with them and invites them to any existing engagement opportunities that we may have, or develops new programs based on their interests. We introduce new residents to residents who we think they might have some commonalities with and could have good conversation. We also try to pair them together at mealtime.
Transportation Services
Yes. We provide transportation to medical appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays weekly. On Fridays, our activities program has outings that may include shopping opportunities.
Dining Experience
We serve three meals each day in our dining hall. The residents are given menus with the main meals listed, but there are also “always available” alternatives. Those could include sandwiches or salads and change weekly. We provide snacks between all meals. Coffee and water are available all day.
Resident Complaint and Issue Resolution
The resident or their family can report any issue or complaint to a member of management including the Executive Director. They can expect a response or resolution within 24 hours.
Cost of Living
There is a one-time move-in deposit of $2,500. In assisted living the base rate varies from $3,240 to $5,065 per month depending on if the room is shared or private, and the size and style of the room. In addition, there are six levels of care ranging from $575 to $2,750 per month depending on how much assistance the resident needs from us.
Communication with Resident's Families
We prefer to have frequent communication with the resident’s family. If an incident occurs, the resident’s family is contacted as soon as possible. The family is also contacted if a resident is not feeling well or may have a change in care needs. In assisted living, our nurse and the resident’s family review the plan of care every six months. We welcome families to call the community to check on their loved ones as well.
Short-term or Respite Stays
When we have availability, we offer respite stays of 14-30 days. The cost is $250 per day all inclusive.
Waitlist Information
In our assisted living, we currently have a few studio rooms available. We have a short waitlist for our 1-bedroom rooms.
Vaccination Clinic
Yes. We have a vaccination clinic at our community each year in or around October.
Aging in Place
Yes. We utilize home health or Hospice agencies when needed to help residents be able to stay at our community as long as we remain a safe environment for them to live in. Our community also offers a secured memory care area if needed.
