Overview of Staff and Training

Our staff range from dishwashers to registered nurses. All hourly staff other than nurses are required to complete their CBRF certification, which includes First Aid, Fire Safety, and Standard precautions. Furthermore, ALL staff are required to complete 15 hours of continuing education annually, covering topics from bloodborne pathogen awareness to communication with individuals with dementia.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We conduct monthly emergency drills covering elopement, fire evacuation, natural disaster response, and power outages. A security and alert monitoring company is employed to alert us to any alarms in the community. Residents are provided with alert pendants with GPS locating capabilities for tracking both inside and outside of the community.

Resources and Support Services

All residents are assessed prior to and 30 days after moving into the community to evaluate their immediate needs. We offer spiritual and therapy services, and partner with several helping agencies for additional care needs.

Transportation Services

We offer complimentary transportation to medical appointments within a 5-mile radius and have outings to local retail businesses.

Dining Experience

Our dining experience is unique with both an executive chef and an Executive Director who is a classically trained chef. We focus on scratch cooking, offering 3 meals a day, a café for snacks, private dining amenities, and a catering menu.

Resident Grievance Procedure

Residents are encouraged to follow the grievance procedure in the resident handbook, directing grievances in writing to the Executive Director for discussion and action.

Communication with Residents' Families

We communicate all concerns to responsible parties as observed and schedule meetings for any necessary re-evaluation of the resident’s service plan. Family members are encouraged to visit and communicate with directorship.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer respite stays with a 21-day minimum. Costs vary based on the resident’s needs, and we are happy to discuss this over the phone.

Pet-Friendly Community

Pets are definitely welcome in our assisted living apartments.

Waitlist Information

We currently have a waitlist for 2-bedroom apartments but have 1-bedroom and 3-bedroom apartments available, with a discount for the 3-bedroom.

Vaccination Availability

We have annual flu vaccine clinics. Covid vaccines need to be sourced by the resident or administered through our visiting physician service if enrolled.

Aging in Place

Residents can age in place with independent, assisted, enhanced care, and memory care living options, allowing them to stay within familiar surroundings. We have a waitlist for our two-bedroom apartment but have one-bedroom, three-bedroom, and studio options available.
