Overview of Staff and Training
We have an executive director who is a licensed administrator overseeing the community as well as licensed nurses, med techs, and CNAs. All staff is required to do continual training on elder abuse, Alzheimer's, safety in the community, and a variety of topics.Measures for Resident Safety and Well-Being
All residents have a care plan based on an assessment coming into the community to make sure they are receiving the care they require.Resources and Support Services for Transition
We have a 7-day welcome week program where each department head visits the resident on a specific day to make sure they understand how each department works (dining, housekeeping, nursing, activities, etc.) as well as our resident ambassador that will be assigned to each new resident to assist in acclimating.Transportation Services
Yes, we take residents to doctors and local shopping in addition to lunch outings.Dining Experience
3 meals a day are included which are all served to the table restaurant style. They have 2 specials to choose from that change daily as well as an always available menu if they don't like what is on the specials.Complaint and Issue Resolution
We have a grievance log located right by the movie theatre which they can fill out and bring to the front desk for our executive director to review. They can also speak to her at any time as she has an open-door policy. In addition, we hold monthly town hall meetings where residents can voice concerns to staff in a group setting if they choose.Cost of Living
Assisted living is comprised of 2 components: Room and board, and care fees. Room and board ranges from $3525-$6200 depending on what style apartment they choose. Care fees are designed to be priced by need. We have a point system that we use when our nurse does an assessment and each point is $22. You can move in with no care needs and not pay any care fees, or you can have points up to $3000 if you're someone who needs heavy care. We assist with showering, dressing, toileting and incontinence care, ambulating, transferring, med management, and a variety of services with our LNS (limited nursing services license) such as injections, oxygen management, and basic wound care.Policy on Communication with Families
We reassess residents every quarter and will communicate any care changes. If things arise in between, we will notify families as well. If you have any questions at any time, you can always call our executive director or Director of Health and Wellness.Short-Term or Respite Stays
Leases in assisted living are month-to-month. Essentially, you can move in and give a 30-day notice at any time. The cost would be per month based on room and board and care fees.Pet-Friendly Policy
Yes, pets under 20lbs are allowed. Residents must care for their pets or hire a pet walker as our staff does not do pet care.Current Availability and Waitlist
