Overview on the Types of Professionals on Our Staff and Their Training
On our staff we have several members, including our Executive Director, Sales/Marketing Director, Business Office Manager, Activities Director, Maintenance and his team, Housekeeping, Our Nurse (LPN) and her staff of Resident Assistance. All undergo a training period. Our care team is on sign training and several have multiple years of experience.
Measures in Place to Ensure the Safety and Well-being of Our Residents
All doors except the front door are alarmed 24 hours a day to monitor if anyone exits or enters a non-regulated area. We also have a staff member on site 24 hours a day. The front door is locked about 7pm and only entry is by a staff member letting a guest in after that time.
Resources or Support Services to Aid Residents' Transition
Absolutely, all staff members and residents are very attentive to new residents. We as staff members do a 2-week adjustment period reminding and inviting them to meals and activities, and introducing them to other residents to help build friendships.
Transportation Services for Residents
Yes, transportation is included under an individual’s rent at no additional cost. This service runs Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm.
Dining Experience
Our dining is included under the rent. We offer 3 meals a day (Breakfast: 7am to 9am, Lunch: 11am to 1pm, and Dinner: 4pm to 6pm). All meals have choices and are served restaurant style. Breakfast offers various options like eggs, pancakes, French toast, sausage, bacon, and more, all served hot. Lunch and Dinner have a main entrée and sides, with a soup and sandwich option always available. We also have everyday options like a hamburger, chicken filet, grilled cheese, cottage cheese, fruit, and more.
Handling Resident Complaints or Issues
Complaints are handled by the Executive Director. We try to stay ahead of issues by having each manager host a fireside chat on Fridays to take suggestions and complaints so that changes can be made. We are very resident-driven and aim to provide the best possible experience for our residents.
Cost of Living in Our Community
The cost ranges from $2,900 to $4,200 depending on the apartment style and location.
Communication with Residents' Families
We keep families in the loop 100%. Any change in health or other issues will be communicated to the family. We also collaborate to find the best care solutions for residents. I personally send a monthly newsletter via email to inform families about fun events and updates happening in the community.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We do offer respite stays depending on current occupancy and availability. Currently, there are no openings for respite. However, the cost is $125 a day.
Pet-Friendly Policy
We are absolutely pet-friendly at no additional cost!
Current Waitlist Status
We currently have a waitlist for our 2-bedroom and studio apartments. Our one-bedroom apartments are very close to having a waitlist as well.
Vaccinations in the Community
We typically have CVS Pharmacy come once a year to offer flu vaccinations. However, for most vaccinations, residents would need to visit their local pharmacy or doctor.
Supporting Residents to Age in Place
Yes, we 100% support the age in place concept. We will communicate with staff to do whatever is necessary to make this happen.
