Overview of Our Staff and Training

We are fortunate to have a dedicated team of professionals directly employed by Sunrise, ensuring no need for third-party staffing agencies. Our wellness team includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Medication Technicians. Our care team comprises Designated Care Managers, some of whom are Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), all rigorously trained through Sunrise's programs. Additionally, our leadership staff boasts an average tenure of 15 years with Sunrise.

Safety and Well-being Measures

Our residents' safety and well-being are paramount. We conduct periodic checks on residents day and night, encourage participation in community activities, and provide several pull cords in suites. Residents also have the option to purchase a pendant for emergency notifications, with a guaranteed response time of 10 minutes from care managers.

Transition Support Services

To ease the transition into our community, we offer a 15-day planner, a warm welcome from team members, and a resident buddy system. We also recommend participating in community meals and events to familiarize with the environment and people.

Transportation Services

Our community bus facilitates group outings, ensuring residents can enjoy external activities together.

Dining Experience

We provide three meals a day, starting with a hot breakfast. Lunch and dinner are served restaurant-style, with daily changing featured entrees and a monthly "anytime" menu. Our 3:00 social hour and a boutique-style bistro offer additional refreshments and snacks at no extra charge.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

Our open-door policy ensures immediate attention to any resident complaints or issues by our leadership team.

Communication with Residents' Families

Room rates include a landline and internet for unrestricted communication. Our SMILE app allows for sharing snapshots of residents' activities, and we offer 24/7 visitation with no restrictions, facilitated by a security code and concierge screening.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer respite stays with a minimum of 30 days, with costs depending on care needs and suite style.

Pet-Friendly Community

Our community welcomes pets, including a community Doxen, as long as residents can care for them.

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

We facilitate Covid and flu vaccinations for residents, with sign-up sheets available before the holidays.

Aging in Place

As the only Sunrise campus in the ATL market, we offer Independent, Assisted, and Memory Care options, along with a range of support services to allow residents to age in place. We also collaborate with hospice companies for comprehensive care.

Availability

We currently have a waitlist for "Studio" and "2-Bedroom" options in our Memory Care neighborhood, but have availability in various floor plans in Assisted Living and 1-bedroom options in Memory Care.
