Overview of Staff and Training
Our facility boasts a diverse range of professionals including nursing, housekeeping, maintenance, and dietary staff, each trained for their specific roles. We hold continuing education events for each department throughout the year. Specifically, for nursing, we ensure a nurse is on duty 24 hours a day, supported by several Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Safety and Well-being Measures
Each resident benefits from a personalized care plan, tailored to their individual needs, whether it's medication management or physical assistance. Our commitment to safety is further underscored by our 24-hour roaming security.
Transition Support Services
To facilitate a smooth transition into our community, we offer resident ambassadors and support from our activities department to help new residents integrate and find activities they're interested in. All departments engage with new residents to ensure they know who to contact with questions.
Transportation Services
Our services include transportation to five medical appointments a month within a 10-mile radius, as well as scheduled outings. Additional transportation needs outside our calendar require resident arrangement.
Dining Experience
Our dining room serves three meals a day, offering a restaurant-like experience where residents can choose from the menu. New residents are assigned seating with different residents for the first week to encourage socialization.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Residents can report issues to our nursing staff or submit a work order for maintenance issues. Our nursing staff typically addresses most complaints.
Communication with Residents' Families
Communication with families is tailored to the resident's preferences, with most updates provided via email or direct communication with our nursing staff.
Short-term or Respite Stays
Currently, we do not offer short-term or respite stays due to full occupancy and a waiting list for permanent residents.
Pet Policy
While pets are not allowed to live with residents in Assisted Living, family pets are welcome to visit.
Vaccination Services
Residents can request Covid and flu vaccinations through our nursing staff.
Aging in Place
We strive to allow residents to age in place, but some conditions may necessitate a move to our Memory Care or Skilled Nursing facilities for safety.
