Overview of Professionals and Training at Our Facility
At our facility, we employ a variety of professionals to ensure comprehensive care and services. This includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Care Coordinators, and Resident Assistants. We have two RNs on staff during the day and either an LPN or RN during the evening. Overnight and weekends, we have on-call RNs. Resident Assistants are trained as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and pass a Medication Passing course. Beyond nursing staff, our team comprises culinary experts, life enrichment personnel, maintenance staff, housekeeping staff, receptionists, transportation personnel, and management.Measures to Ensure Residents' Safety and Well-being
To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we have emergency pull cords in the bathrooms and bedrooms of every apartment. Residents also have emergency pendants that they wear. Additionally, we have an informal daily check-in procedure to ensure that each tenant is accounted for and has attended meals or been seen during the day.Support Services for Residents' Transition
To aid residents' transition into the community, we provide escorts to meals and activities during the first weeks of their stay. We also have a tenant ambassador program, where existing tenants introduce themselves to newcomers and invite them to join in meals and activities.Dining Experience
Our dining experience is restaurant-style, allowing tenants to sit where they prefer during designated time spans for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Our chef prepares two main entrées daily, and if these options are not to a tenant's liking, they can order from a "comfort menu."Process for Addressing Complaints or Issues
We have several mechanisms for residents to raise complaints or issues. This includes an anonymous suggestion/complaint box, tenant meetings, and an open-door policy with management. We encourage tenants to voice their concerns, no matter how big or small, so that we can continually improve.Communication with Residents' Families
Our Executive Director regularly sends emails to family members, keeping them informed of both minor details (like window washing schedules) and major updates (such as a COVID case in the building). With tenant permission, we will also contact families if we observe any concerns with the resident.Short-term or Respite Stays
Yes, we do offer short-term or respite stays. The cost is $210 per day for assisted living and $220 per day for memory care.Vaccination Availability
We host yearly clinics to provide COVID and flu vaccinations to our residents.Ability to Age in Place
We support seamless transitions from independent living to assisted living without requiring tenants to change apartments. Many residents live their entire lives at our facility. However, for those requiring "two-person assist," a move to a nursing home may be necessary. We have a waitlist for some apartments but not for all. We offer 12 different floor plans and can provide information on availability upon request.Apartment Styles
We have two styles of apartments: kitchenette style and a full kitchen.
Full Kitchen
A full kitchen has a dishwasher, stove, fridge, microwave, washer & dryer.
Kitchenette
Kitchenette has a fridge and microwave, sink, and cabinet space.

- Biweekly housekeeping (if assisted living services are used, this turns to weekly housekeeping & laundry)

- Some apartments have washers & dryers, smaller apartments have them available in community areas
- Garage parking $70 a month
- Extra storage units $40 a month

What does this mean?
You receive all the above and pay for your apartment. If you need any nursing care, you will pay for it as you need it.
Assisted Living
What does this mean?
You receive everything listed above, pay for your apartment, and pay for regularly scheduled care such as showers, dressing, medication administration, escorts to meals and/or activities, and more options.
You also automatically receive weekly housekeeping. You do NOT switch apartments if you transition from Independent to Assisted Living; we bring the nursing services to you. If you are a couple, just one person CAN get assisted living services. Also, if you need assisted living services for a month it can change without moving in and out of assisted living.
Memory & Advanced Care
Tenants who live in this unit enjoy all the above AND 24-hour nursing services. Their rent includes nursing care & housekeeping.
Exceptions: If a tenant is living here due to memory issues, we would not drive them to appointments without a caregiver with them or meeting them at the facility they intend to go to.
