Our Staff and Training

We have a staff of nurses, all LPN’s, Certified Nursing Assistants and non-certified care staff. They all undergo our orientation training as well as ongoing training we offer. Our memory care staff undergo training specific to working with individuals with memory loss as well.

Resident Assessment and Safety

Each resident is assessed at beginning of residency and on an ongoing basis for safety as well as any health issues which may arise. We partner with physical therapy, home health and hospice agencies who can provide additional support in our community. We also have 24/7 staffing for any emergencies which may arise and a fully staffed concierge desk available 24 hours per day. Each apartment has an emergency call system the resident can use as well. Our community is outfitted with cameras throughout the building which is monitored by the concierge on duty.

Health Services and Welcome Committee

Home health and physical therapy is available upon move in per doctor orders. We also have a resident led welcome committee to help with the transition.

Transportation Services

We offer scheduled transportation on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to doctor appointments, as well as scheduled trips for shopping and other excursions.

Dining Experience

Our dining is restaurant style with a featured entrée at each meal and an always available items menu if the entrée is not something you would like. Dining in any community is central to the experience of senior living and is where residents form friendships and do quite a lot of socializing.

Resident Concerns and Mediation

Issues which may arise can be addressed with our Executive Director who has an OPEN-DOOR policy with residents. We also have an elected resident council which can assist with issues as well. If a mediator is needed there is a state agency which offers an Ombudsman for every community in our area and the numbers for such are posted in our community as well as part of our residency agreement.

Costs and Fees

Costs can range from $2900 per month and up dependent upon the size of the apartment and care needs a person may need. We have a one-time 2000 community fee upon move in. Our levels of care range from 500 to 1900 per month. There are other fees which may apply such as pet fees- one time 500 and the use of a power chair or scooter is also a one-time fee of 500. Both fees are non-refundable.

Family Involvement and Communication

We pride ourselves on resident family involvement and we have set up an email list which allows us to keep families in the know on happenings within our community. Our managing nurse communicates to either the power of attorney or other appointed family member on anything health related.

Occupancy and Residency Agreement

Our community is 100 percent occupied with a small waitlist and at this time we do not have the space for offering short term/respite stays. Our residency agreement is on a 30 day basis meaning you are not held to any long term lease.

Pet Policy

We are pet friendly with small dogs and cats.

Vaccination Services

We offer flu/COVID and other vaccinations during late fall – usually provided by one of the local pharmacies we use.

Aging in Place

We can offer aging in place per our state’s regulations. Currently we have a waitlist for some apartments.
