Overview on the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility

We have licensed professionals that are all required to attend specialized training during their employment. They all are screened and have background checks as required by the state.

Measures in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents

The measures we put in place are the alarmed doors that are monitored and checked daily by our staff. We are not a secured memory unit as our sister facility has the means to assist with that. We also, if the need arises, have chair alarms to place on residents' wheelchairs or beds to alert for any unsafe attempts to get up. Each resident is assessed upon their needs and safety. We do not provide one-to-one care as each case is different and will be addressed accordingly.

Resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community

We provide the necessary resources for Home Health Services that insurance will cover when a discharge is planned. We also assist with ordering any medical equipment a resident will need at home, such as a commode, wheelchair, shower chair, and walker.

Transportation services for residents

Unfortunately, we do not offer transportation services but work with many transportation companies that will accommodate if the need arises. This will be at the cost of the resident/family.

Dining experience

Since the COVID pandemic, we have not fully resumed having meals in our spacious dining room. Currently, only lunch is served there. If the residents choose not to attend the dining room, they have the option to have meals in their rooms or at the common area on the hall they have been assigned. We have a Registered Dietician on staff Monday-Friday who meets with the residents to discuss their likes, dislikes, and nutritional needs. We offer always-available menus, and a menu is placed upon admission. Residents have the option to complete their own menus along with the dietician and staff.

Process if a resident has a complaint or issue

There is a Social Worker on staff Monday-Friday. Concerns can also be addressed with the charge nurse, who will contact the Social Worker immediately. The concern will then become a grievance to be resolved. You will be informed of the process and the outcome. We handle concerns immediately and take them seriously.

Cost of living in the community

The cost for living in our community ranges from $7,000 to $9,000 monthly for room and board, depending on whether it is a private room or a three-room setup. This does not include co-pays from the pharmacy monthly.

Policy on communication with residents' families

Upon admission, you will have contact from all departments to obtain history and discharge planning information, nutrition, and therapy regarding the prior level of function. You will be invited via letter, email, or regular mail for a meeting with all departments to discuss your loved one. This normally occurs within 14-21 days of admission. However, you are always welcome to meet with any of the department heads. We are always available.

Short-term or respite stays

Yes, we offer both short-term and respite stays. The cost ranges from $290.00 to $320.00 per day, depending on your preference for a private, semi-private, or triple bedroom.

Pet-friendly community

Yes, we are a pet-friendly community and actually encourage pets for support. Pets must be up-to-date with their shots, and documentation is required to confirm this.

COVID and flu vaccinations

Absolutely, we offer vaccinations for both COVID and the flu.

Aging in place

Absolutely, we offer transitions to any part of the building to accommodate residents. We currently do not have a waiting list.
