Overview of Staff Professionals and Training

We follow all State guidelines with the hiring and training process. Our staff undergoes 16 hours of Memory Care training and 16 hours of Assisted Living training. While employees don't need to be certified to work in Assisted Living, we prefer to hire staff with experience.

Measures for Residents' Safety and Well-being

Our doors are locked at the ends of the halls, preventing strangers from gaining access unless they enter through the front door, which locks at 8pm. Strangers can use a speaker button to contact Med Aids. We also have care staff present 24/7, ensuring residents are never left alone.

Resources and Support Services for Transitioning Residents

We frequently check on new residents to help them acclimate to the community, including meals, activities, personal care, housekeeping, and laundry services. Private caregivers for your loved one are welcome, as they help us learn more about the resident.

Transportation Services

We offer transportation services with our 14-passenger bus on Tuesdays or Thursdays for outside activities.

Dining Experience

Dining takes place in a communal dining room on a first-come, first-serve basis with no assigned seating. Aids will take food and drink orders from the residents and serve them.

Addressing Resident Complaints

Directors have an open door policy. Residents can report issues directly to any director or through an aid. You will receive personal cell phone numbers of Lucy, our Executive Director, and Crystal, our Director of Resident Care, for direct communication.

Communication Policy with Residents' Families

We maintain open communication with families and provide personal cell phone numbers. In case of incidents, you will be contacted personally via phone, email, or text. We also communicate effectively with out-of-state POAs.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Respite stays are available with a minimum of 14 days and a maximum of 30 days, depending on apartment availability. Assisted Living Respite costs $150 per day.

Pet-friendly Policy

We are pet-friendly with a one-time pet fee of $750.

Vaccination Availability

We offer COVID, flu, and pneumonia vaccinations through a visiting company. Residents and families will be informed about the vaccines, and participants can choose to opt-in.

Aging in Place

Residents have the ability to age in place with support from Home Health and Hospice services available within the community.
