PERSONAL CARE LEVELS

Rental fee includes private apartment, 3 meals a day, bi-monthly housekeeping, weekly linen services, and utilities (phone and cable excluded).

Optional Monthly Costs:

• Incontinence care: $667 (supplies included)
• Double occupancy: $822 (includes 3 meals. Care services extra)
• Lifeline pendant/service: $64 per month
• Hospice Services: $612
• Diabetic Care Support: $642
• 10 or more medication and/or 4 or more medication passes per day: $595 per month

One time fees (if applicable):

• Community fee: $1,000
• Lifeline pendant/set-up: $220

• Internal relocation fee: $913 (excludes moving of furniture)

Respite Care Rates (2 week minimum, 4 week maximum):

• Assisted Living Level 1,2 & 3 = $274 per night
• Memory Support Level 1, 2 & 3 = $309 per night

Reasons for respite care: transition from hospital to home; family/caregiver vacation; changes in the home such as renovation, preparation for a special event such as weddings and tax season!

The community can provide a list of recommended movers familiar with the facility to assist new residents with their move. Families are also welcome to help with the moving process if they prefer.

Transportation and Outings

Transportation services are available for medical appointments within a 10-mile radius and for planned shopping trips. Additionally, the community organizes outings, including picnics in the park and scenic drives, for both assisted living and memory care residents.

Dining Experience

Residents enjoy three meals per day plus snacks, with two entree options at each meal, along with soup, salad, and dessert. An alternate menu is available, offering items like hamburgers, omelets, and custom salads. Beverages are always available.

Staff and Care

The community employs a dedicated team, including nurses, certified nursing assistants, activity staff, facilities personnel, dietary team, administrators, and 24-hour reception and security. The staff is known for their longevity and stability, contributing to a stable environment for residents.

Safety Features

St. Paul's Villa ensures resident safety with 24-hour security and reception, secure units for memory care, pull cords in rooms for immediate assistance, and fall detection cameras in some memory care rooms.

Addressing Resident Concerns

A resident services coordinator is available to address any concerns or issues, with the administrator also open to meetings. An ombudsman is accessible for further assistance, and a structured process is in place for escalating complaints if necessary.

Communication with Families

The community communicates with resident families through phone, email, and a resident portal that provides updates, activity calendars, and menus. A new software platform is being set up to enhance communication and information access for families.
