Our facility is staffed with a team of healthcare professionals including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Nursing Assistants (NAs). The ratio of staff to residents varies depending on the current patient load and the specific care needs of the residents. Rest assured, there is always a nurse and CNA on duty to attend to residents' needs.

Accessibility and Safety Features

St. John's Place is designed with safety and accessibility in mind. The facility is secured with locks and alarms to ensure the safety of all residents. Each room is equipped with a call light system linked to the nurse's station, and accessibility features such as grab bars are standard throughout the facility.

Transportation Services

Residents have access to transportation via our facility's van, which can be used for appointments and various activities outside the community.

Dining Experience

Our community provides three meals a day, with a standardized menu developed by a dietitian. The dining experience is crafted to meet the nutritional needs of our residents while offering enjoyable meals.

Resident Grievances

If a resident has a complaint, we have a formal grievance procedure in place. The social worker serves as the first point of contact to address and resolve any issues that may arise.

Insurance and Payment Options

St. John's Place accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and has contracts with several insurance providers, including Coventry and UnitedHealthcare. We also accommodate residents who prefer to pay privately.

Family Communication

Communication with residents' families is vital to us. We keep families informed about any changes in condition through phone calls. Additionally, we maintain an active Facebook page for community updates and engagement.
