Overview of Staff and Training

Our facility employs a diverse range of professionals, including CNAs, LPNs, and MSWs. We also have regional RN oversight with daily communication. Our team is known for its tenure, with members averaging 10 years at SAP. Megan, our executive director, has been with us for over 21 years. We provide continuous, monthly training through programs such as Relias.

Resident Safety and Well-being

Our community is purpose-built to ensure resident care and safety. Each resident is in proximity to dining and activities. We offer 24-hour staffing and optional overnight safety check-ins. Pre-assessments, move-in assessments, and 30-day assessments are conducted to meet each resident's care needs.

Support Services for Transition

All managers are involved in welcoming new residents, aiding their connection to the community. Residents receive a “cheat sheet” with managers' contact information along with daily schedules.

Transportation Services

Complimentary transportation is available to medical appointments on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Dining Experience

Dining is designed as a restaurant-style experience with servers and a full menu. We offer two meal times, with lunch as the heartier meal. SAP is renowned for our southern, homecooked meals, with Chef Derrick and Sou Chef Shonta leading the kitchen for over 8 and 16 years, respectively.

Addressing Resident Complaints

An open-door policy allows residents to raise concerns directly with Megan, our ED, or any manager. A formal grievance policy is also in place.

Cost of Living

Our pricing is individualized, with room costs ranging from $3750 to $4900+. Care services are a la carte, averaging $1800 per month, reflecting our high standard of care.

Communication with Families

Communication with families is individualized. Monthly emails are sent, while urgent care updates are shared as needed, based on family preference via call, text, or email.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Availability-dependent, typical respite stays are a 30-day minimum with a 20% rental increase.

Pet-friendly Community

Yes, we happily accommodate pets and enjoy having furry friends in our community!

Current Availability

We have three apartments currently available and anticipate a waitlist soon.

Vaccination Availability

Flu shots are available, and we are confirming Covid vaccination availability with our clinical team.

Aging in Place

With our ECC license, residents can age in place here, supported by our well-known quality care.
