Do you guys currently have a waitlist?

We maintain a waitlist of about 55 for independent living, however we do typically have one-bedroom apartments available. We encourage people to get on the waitlist sooner rather than later. You can always pass when your name comes up and maintain your position. For supportive care, it will vary.

Could you share pricing and any other general information?

I’ve attached information on pricing.

Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?

Our Leadership team can be viewed on our website. All of staff goes through dementia training, emergency preparedness training, and then specified training based on their job duties. In assisted living and nursing care, they will undergo training based on their certifications. Should emergencies arise in Independent Living, nurses will come over from supportive care and direct as needed.

Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?

Our community is fully gated, with a 24-hour front desk and security monitoring. All our Independent Living residences have check in buttons in their apartments they will hit every morning to let us know they are ok. If they do not check in, we will call, then go to the apartment if no response. Residents also are issued pendants to wear to press in case of emergency (in supportive care, they can press the pendant for any help needed). We also have alert buttons in all bathrooms.

Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?

We have full time social workers, a full time Chaplin, as well as a resident led welcoming committee.

Do you offer transportation services for residents?

Yes! We have drivers that will take residents to and from doctor’s appointments as well as the airport. We have weekly bus trips to the grocery store, as well as various other shopping trips. We also schedule transportation to select theatre performances, lunch/dinner outings, and other various outings planned by our full time Lifestyles and Activities Coordinators.

Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?

Residents are credited one meal per day in their monthly fees. This is a flexible meal plan, and they can choose to use it as they please for lunch or dinner throughout the month, the credits just do not rollover. Residents can purchase additional credits at $12 per meal as need or for guests. Our dining is restaurant style. On your tour, we would be happy to treat you to lunch to experience our dining firsthand! In supportive care, residents are given three meals a day.

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?

Residents are free to speak to our CEO and COO for any complaints. We also have comment boxes and a resident’s council.

What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?

For Independent Living we will follow the directive of the residents. We will contact families when asked or for emergencies, as independent living residents are independent and cognitive to do so as they please. For supportive care, our social workers and nurse will meet with the families to develop care plans and communicate as needed.

Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?

Yes, pricing is included in attachments.

Are you all a pet-friendly community?

Yes, in independent living residents are allowed a maximum of 2 pets 25lbs or less each.

Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?

Yes.

Are residents able to age in place?

Yes, depending on the needs of the resident and if those needs impact their safety. We offer an easy living program if the resident just needs a little extra help. We have an assessment team that will assess the ability for residents to remain in Independent Living. Should residents need more supportive care, our assisted living and nursing care is under the same roof. Independent living residents are referred to as LifeCare residents, giving them priority access to our higher levels of care. We maintain a waitlist of about 55 for independent living, however we do typically have one-bedroom apartments available. We encourage people to get on the waitlist sooner rather than later.
