Pricing Information

The range starts at $5,250 for the smallest studio. Apartments go up to $8,900 a month. The average apartment is about $6,900 a month.

Springwell is a unique retirement community with all the comforts of home located on 15 lovely acres in the heart of old Mt. Washington. Our convenient location puts you within easy reach of downtown Baltimore, and we are less than seven miles from Towson and other nearby areas that offer shopping, entertainment, medical facilities, churches, and other recreational activities.

Our Accommodations

We offer 1 and 2-Bedroom Independent Living Residences and Assisted Living 1-bedroom apartments and private studios with baths. Our community features a glamorous grand lobby, a stunning veranda overlooking our beautifully landscaped lawn and gardens. Better yet, we do not require a large buy-in fee; our apartments and studios are rentals.

Amenities and Services

We have a wide variety of different sized studios with private bathrooms, which is why there is a range in our pricing. Included in our levels of care, which I have attached for your review, are level one care, med management, a 24-hour emergency call system, three meals a day, all utilities including basic cable and wi-fi, weekly housekeeping, laundry and linen service, and transportation to routine medical appointments and activities.

Springwell Senior Living offers a comprehensive range of care options for seniors. The community is designed to cater to various needs, from those who require minimal assistance to individuals needing more intensive support.

Types of Care Offered

• Assisted Living: Licensed to level three, providing tailored support for residents who require assistance with daily activities.
• Memory Care: Specialized care for residents with memory impairments, also licensed to level three.
• Independent Living: For seniors who do not require nursing care and wish to maintain a high level of independence.

Wait List Information

Springwell Senior Living maintains a wait list for potential residents. The wait times can vary based on the type of accommodation desired, with some wait times ranging from three to six months, particularly for larger or specific apartment types.

Accommodation Options

The community offers a variety of studio sizes and apartment configurations, ensuring that residents can find a space that meets their preferences and needs.

Respite Care

Springwell Senior Living does not offer respite care for non-residents. However, a 30-day respite service is available for existing independent living residents who require temporary additional support.

Pet Policy

Pets are allowed in the independent living section, with some limitations in assisted living. Memory care residents are not permitted to have pets. The community is open to most animals, but they reserve the right to meet and approve larger pets.

Moving Assistance

While the community does not provide moving services directly, they offer recommendations to assist new residents with their transition into the community.

Transportation Services

Transportation is available for all residents, covering medical appointments, shopping, and other activities. This service is included in the cost of living at Springwell and is facilitated through a variety of vehicles, including an Odyssey minivan and other vans.

Dining Experience

Residents can enjoy a diverse menu with multiple options for each meal, served during set dining hours by a professional wait staff.

Staff and Medical Support

The community employs a mix of RNs, LPNs, and certified nursing assistants. A medical director is available, and residents have the option to continue with their personal physicians. The executive director is one of the owners, and the community is primarily owned by LifeBridge.

Safety and Security

Resident safety is a top priority, with call buttons and pendants provided for emergencies. Security personnel are present across all buildings, and nursing staff regularly check on residents.

Addressing Resident Concerns

Residents can voice complaints or concerns to any member of the management team, nursing staff, or the executive director. An ombudsman is also available for additional support.

Communication with Families

The community keeps families informed through weekly newsletters, emails, and phone calls, ensuring open lines of communication regarding their loved ones' well-being.
