Overview of Staff and Training

We have a diverse team of professionals including LNAs (Licensed Nursing Assistants), MNAs (Medication Nursing Assistants), LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurses), and RNs (Registered Nurses). All staff members are trained in dementia care, as required by the state.

Safety and Well-being Measures

Our residents spend most of their day engaged in activities. When in their rooms, staff check on them every 2 hours or more frequently if needed. Rooms are equipped with pull cords, and some residents have pendants to press for assistance.

Transition Support Services

While we do not offer specific resources or services, our activities department plays a crucial role in helping residents integrate into the community by finding friends and engaging in activities promptly.

Transportation Services

Transportation to appointments is available for a fee. Additionally, we organize activity trips for residents using our van.

Dining Experience

Breakfast is available from 7-10am, with residents free to order as they wish. Lunch is served at 12pm and dinner at 5pm, with weekly menus provided to help residents choose their meals. An always available menu offers additional flexibility.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

Residents can approach any director with complaints or concerns. A resident council meeting is also held monthly for this purpose.

Communication with Families

Care plan meetings are held every 6 months, or more frequently if requested by the family. Families can contact the Director of Nursing or the Life Enrichment Director for updates or questions. The Power of Attorney (POA) is contacted with any significant issues or changes.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer 30-day respite stays to assess fit for the resident and family, charged at the same rate as our monthly rent, without a community fee.

Pet-Friendly Community

Yes, we are a pet-friendly community and currently have a bird as a community pet.

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

Residents can receive Covid and flu vaccinations within the community.

Aging in Place

Our community supports residents from supervision care to hospice and end-of-life care, with current availability and no waiting list.
