Respite Care

Understanding the need for flexibility, Spring Arbor also offers respite care services. This option is available for a minimum of 21 days, providing short-term relief for caregivers and a comfortable stay for residents.

Pet Policy

We believe that pets are an integral part of many families, which is why we welcome small dogs into our community. The acceptance of cats is subject to the discretion of our director, ensuring the comfort and safety of all our residents.

Transportation Services

To facilitate mobility and independence, we provide transportation services for our residents. Our fleet includes both a van and a bus, accommodating various travel needs for activities, appointments, and outings.

Staff and Medical Support

Our dedicated staff includes Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and registered medication technicians, overseen by supervisors in charge. We have an LPN available during the night shift, and our executive director, director of nursing, and cottage care coordinator are all Registered Nurses (RNs). Additionally, we have a nurse practitioner and a doctor's group that visit our community weekly to provide medical care and consultations.

Safety Measures

Safety is a top priority at Spring Arbor. Each resident is provided with a personal pendant, which can be worn as a bracelet or necklace, to ensure they can easily call for assistance when needed. This system is linked to their apartment, offering peace of mind for both residents and their families.

Addressing Concerns

Should residents or their families have any concerns, they are encouraged to bring them to the attention of management or the director of nursing, depending on the nature of the issue. We have a grievance procedure in place to ensure that all matters are addressed through the proper channels and resolved promptly.

Communication with Families

We maintain open lines of communication with the families of our residents. In emergency situations, we follow a set procedure to notify the appropriate contacts as listed in each resident's chart. For general updates and community news, we utilize newsletters, social media, and various information centers within the community to keep everyone informed.
