Overview of Professional Staff and Training
Our nursing professionals include a Resident Care Director and an Assistant Resident Care Director who oversee Med-Techs and Care Aides, which are either CNAs (certified nursing assistants) or PCAs (personal care assistants). Training is conducted monthly, covering topics such as infection control and Dementia Care. We adhere to all training requirements set by the Department of Social Services.
Safety and Well-being Measures
We have an emergency call system for residents that alerts our front desk staff when assistance is needed. Our staff promptly responds to these alerts to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.
Support Services for Residents' Transition
We address transition challenges, including Transfer Trauma, in our orientation for new team members and Assisted Living Licensing Standards. Support is personalized, with a New Resident Orientation conducted shortly after move-in and a Red Carpet Treatment that includes team member introductions.
Transportation Services
Transportation services are available for residents on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Dining Experience
Our dining is restaurant-style, offering residents meal choices three times a day, with snacks available in between.
Resident Complaints and Issues
Residents or family members can bring issues to the Supervisor in Charge. If further assistance is needed, Nichelle Abrams, Resident Care Director, and Matt Hartwick, Executive Director, are available by cell phone. We also provide contact information for the Long Term Care Ombudsman and our Licensing agency.
Cost of Living
The cost ranges from $5,750 to $9,180, depending on the floor plan and neighborhood, excluding the level of care costs, which range from $0 to $1,700.
