Community Overview

The senior living community in question offers both assisted living and memory care services. The community has a waitlist for assisted living but has immediate availability for memory care. The facility does not include skilled nursing services but does provide respite care for both levels of care, subject to availability.

Pet Policy

Pets are welcome in the community, with a limit of two pets per resident. The pets must be cats or dogs weighing no more than 25 pounds.

Transportation Services

The community provides medical transportation services to residents for doctor's appointments, but not for personal errands.

Dining Experience

The dining experience is restaurant-style, complete with servers and a menu from which residents can order. Residents are seated and served in a dining area that mimics a traditional restaurant setting.

For safety, residents are provided with personal pendants to wear for emergencies. There are also emergency pull cords located in the bathrooms and bedrooms.

Addressing Complaints

The community has an open-door policy for all managers, allowing residents to bring complaints directly to the relevant department head or the executive director. Contact information for the long-term care ombudsman and the licensing inspector is also provided to residents.

Family Communication

Communication with residents' families is conducted through various channels. A resident portal is available for checking account balances and email communication. Emails are also sent to families about events and updates within the community. For medical or time-sensitive matters, direct phone calls are made to the families.
