Staff Overview and Training

Could you provide an overview on the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility? We have a variety of professionals here in the community, including:

Resident Safety and Well-being

Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents? Not sure I understand. We have 24 hour staffing. We have emergency pendants and pull cords. What specific question do you have?

Transition Support Services

Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community? Our care staff provides additional support during a resident's first few days to help get them acclimated. If they need more support than that, we can refer them to private duty but that would be additional costs associated with that.

Transportation Services

Do you offer transportation services for residents? Up to 10 miles to doctors' appointments on Wednesday and Thursday. They go shopping every Friday. They also have other outings like out to lunch etc.

Dining Experience

Could you tell me a little about your dining experience? We have a cycle menu of daily specials to give the residents variety then we also offer an always available menu where residents can get things like grilled chicken, fish, cheeseburger, chicken tenders, BLT etc.

Complaint Resolution Process

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed? We have a Grievance Policy. We would first have them address their concerns to the appropriate department head and if the issue is not corrected, they can fill out a Grievance form that would go to the Executive Director.

Family Communication Policy

What is your policy on communication with residents' families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being? It depends on if the resident gives us permission to share their information with family or if the family have POA and Health Care Surrogate etc.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost? Yes, we do. Prices start at $175 but the exact price depends on someone's care needs.

Pet Policy

Are you all a pet-friendly community? Yes, we are. We have a one-time pet fee of $500.

Waitlist Information

Do you guys currently have a waitlist? We have a waitlist for Memory Care and immediate availability for Assisted Living.

Vaccination Availability

Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community? We have offered this in the past but do not have any vaccine clinics scheduled at this time.

Aging in Place

Are residents able to age in place? We have an ALF license and LNS license. It allows us to provide some additional services like insulin for diabetics, oxygen, foley caths etc.
