Overview on Our Professional Staff and Training

We have a diverse range of professionals on our staff, from the Laundry department to Nursing. Our Director of Health Services has been with Silverado for 13 years. Our full-time Director of Family and Resident Services is a master-level social worker and has been with Silverado for 8 years. Our Administrator has over 22 years in the senior living industry. Our Chef has been with Silverado for 11 years. I myself have been in Patient Care for over 9 years. We have nurses available 24 hours a day. All of our staff is dementia certified, and we are the only memory care community in the United States approved by Alzheimer's Disease International for our training and certification process.

Safety and Well-Being Measures

Everything at Silverado is set up for the safety and well-being of our residents, from the lights we use to our residents' ability to access our outside courtyard freely. We treat all our residents with dignity and give them purpose in their lives with our Nexus brain health treatment program.

Transition Support Services

We offer resources and support services to aid residents' transition into the community. We are all trained to ensure each resident transitions based on what they love and what makes them happy. Our social worker also supports the family and resident throughout the transition process.

Transportation Services

We offer transportation services for residents. We will transport to medical appointments for $5 a mile. Additionally, we take our residents on various outings.

Dining Experience

We eat every meal in our formal dining room. The chef prepares an appetizer, main meal, and dessert, as well as two snacks a day. We also have kitchenettes fully stocked with drinks, snacks, and fruit open 24 hours a day.

Complaint and Issue Resolution Process

If a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed, we listen and take care of it. Residents and family members can come to us anytime.

Cost of Living

The cost of living in our community depends on the specific community you are in.

Family Communication Policy

We keep in constant communication with residents' families. We send pictures and updates, and we also have routine care plans.

Short-Term or Respite Stays

We offer short-term or respite stays with a 14-day minimum. The cost starts at $310 a day.

Pet-Friendly Community

Our community is pet-friendly. We have community dogs, cats, and birds, and our residents can also bring their own animals.

Waitlist Status

Whether we have a waitlist depends on which neighborhood is appropriate for the resident.

Vaccinations

Residents are able to get Covid vaccinations and flu vaccinations in the community.

Aging in Place

Residents are able to age in place at Silverado.
