Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
There is a wait list and time varies depending on the desired apartment. Have you seen a floor plan on our website that you are interested in?
Could you share pricing and any other general information?
I have attached the brochure. Price varies based on apartment size and if there are any care services that are needed.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
We have an Executive Director and seven department managers that make up our management team. Between us, we have 70+ years of experience in senior living. We have 3 licensed practical nurses, a full staff of state licensed caregiver and med techs. There is a therapy office on site with a licensed physical therapist and occupational therapist. Each member of staff have cleared a background check and fingerprint clearance. We have mandatory monthly education that all staff are required to complete.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
Each apartment is licensed for independent and assisted living. We have individualized care plans to assist our residents that may require help. We have programming and policies that focus on resident safety, care, physical and emotional wellness, etc. The property is all one level, safe, secured with 24 hour awake staff. Is there a specific topic that you are concerned about so I may elaborate?
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
I have a long list of resources.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Scheduled local transportation is included. As well as scheduled medical appointments in Tucson.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Our โDine your wayโ program offers our residents choice and flexibility. The dining room is open from 7am to 7pm. Meals are made to order, fresh and delicious. Our residents have choice and input.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
Our Executive Director has and open door policy and is extremely accessible as are department managers. We also have a resident council and our council president is a supportive peer. The council is active. They meet once a month and then there is a town hall the following week.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
When a new resident moves in, the family is sent a welcome email with each managers contact information. You may call, text or email. If something on our end should happen, we will call the person identified as the medical poa to inform and update.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
No, we do not. Unfortunately, senior apartments are limited and reserved for long term residents.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Yes we are. Can you tell me about the animal?
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Yes, we have had every covid clinic and flue clinic here at the Silver Springs
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes, we support our residents from independent to assisted living to end of life all in the same apartment. However, we do not have memory care. There is a wait list and time varies depending on the desired apartment. Have you seen a floor plan on our website that you are interested in?
